Easy-To-Make All-Natural Facial Cleanser For Younger-Looking Skin

Fancy, pricy skin products are not always the answer in achieving smoother and prettier skin. There are easy-to-find kitchen ingredients that will surely bring out the best in our skin. These ingredients can be made into all-natural facial cleansers that can make our skin soft, smooth, and radiant.

Lemons

Studies revealed that lemon contains ascorbic acid that can help eliminate excessive pigmentation and blemishes from the face. This effect can help improve our complexion and makes our skin clearer.
This cleanser requires us to extract the juice from a lemon and dab a cotton pad with it. Apply this to the face and neck and leave it on for 10 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly with water. Do this 1-2 times a week until desired results are achieved.

Honey

Honey possesses humectant, emollient, and soothing effects. The use of it will help slow down wrinkle formation and regulate the skin’s pH thus making us look young ang glowing.

Make a paste by mixing fresh milk and 2-3 teaspoon of honey. Apply the paste on the face and neck and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Pat the face and neck dry. Do this 2-3 times a week for best results.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

ACV has malic acid, which is similar to alpha-hydroxy acid and exfoliates the skin. This in turn promotes cell turnover, clarifies the skin, restores the skin’s pH levels, and helps clear out and prevent clogged pores and acne. However, we always need to dilute it first and never be applied directly to the skin.

Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water, and shake well. Apply to a clean face with a cotton ball or pad. Once the skin dries, we may apple usual daily moisturizer.

Coconut Oil

The lauric acid in coconut oil as well as its moisturizing properties works by eliminating dryness of skin and promoting clearer-looking skin.

We can make our own facial cleanser by simply mixing 1 teaspoon each of virgin coconut oil, honey, and yogurt. Apply it to the face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse off. Do this twice or thrice a week.

Olive Oil

Olive oil is a great natural moisturizer to nourish and soften skin. Moreover, its antioxidants and good fats may also help reduce free radicals to relieve irritated or sunburned skin.

Create a paste by mixing 1 tablespoon each of honey and olive oil, one egg yolk, and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply to clean face for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse off.
