Natural Remedies That May Us Help Deal With Split Ends

We get split ends when our hair doesn’t get enough nourishment or lacks moisture. This messes our plan of trying to grow long, bouncy, beautiful hair. But luckily, there are ways to deal with them naturally. Check them out below.

Egg Yolk

Egg yolk contains adequate amounts of protein that strengthens the strands of the hair and prevents split ends. Aside from this, eggs also help treat frizzy hair, works as a moisturizer, conditions the hair, and give them a healthier shine.

Simply mix an egg yolk with a tablespoon each of almond oil, olive oil, and honey. Apply this egg hair mask and keep it for about 30-45 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Honey and Olive Oil

The combination of honey and olive oil is great for moisturizing and nourishing damaged hair. Honey is a humectant and offers emollient properties, making it the ideal moisturizer for dry hair that’s prone to split ends. Aside from this, honey can also help treat dry scalp and give the hair a natural shine.

Mix three tablespoons of olive oil with two tablespoons of raw honey. Shampoo and wash the hair and then apply the mixture. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse it out.

Avocado Hair Mask

Avocado is rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, biotin, potassium, magnesium which all help in making the hair silky smooth, protect it from damage, and prevents breakage.

Mash an avocado well to get a smooth paste, add 1 whole raw egg and mix well. In the end, mix 1 -3 tablespoons of macadamia oil. Apply the mixture to wet hair and scalp and leave it on for around 20 minutes. Wash the mask out and condition the hair as usual.

Eggs are rich in protein and amino acids that reduce hair splitting and adds volume and shine the hair. Meanwhile, macadamia nut oil is packed with moisture and nutrients and it can help you keep the hair frizz-free, luscious, and healthy.

Papaya

Being rich in protein, papaya can maintain our hair’s shine, moisture, and growth. For this remedy, simply mash two medium slices of papaya with a fork or in a blender and add two tablespoons yogurt. Apply the mixture on the scalp and hair. Cover the hair with a shower cap to lock the moisture and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash with shampoo.
