It’s just normal for us to experience muscle pain from time to time. However, due to the pain and discomfort being experienced, our day-to-day activities might be affected and this can be annoying.
Aside from rigorous physical activities, there several reasons why we experience muscle pain.

Aside from being bad for our mental health, excess stress is also harmful to our muscles. Our body may have difficulty in fighting off diseases due to stress hormones. We may always experience tiredness and muscle pain because the body has difficulty in managing inflammation.
Water is a basic necessity for one’s survival. It is needed to support the proper functions of the different parts of our body. Drinking an insufficient amount of water can make our muscle ache, and cause headaches, exhaustion, and other health issues. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day.
Lack of sleep can lead to weight gain which is known to make our muscles ache. Also, not giving the body enough rest can make us feel sluggish and may affect our ability to think clearly.
Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep to repair and rejuvenate the muscles.
Since Iron is needed to help the muscles grow, develop, and function properly deficiency from it can lead to muscle aches.
Certain vitamins and minerals are needed by the body to keep our bones strong, brain sharp and overall wellness. The deficiency of any of these important nutrients in the body may also cause muscle ache. Vitamin D, in particular, is needed by our muscles.
