The prostate gland is an important organ for men. Its main function is to secrete a prostate fluid which is one of the components of semen.
The prostate is a muscular gland that is about the size of a walnut. It surrounds the urethra just beneath the bladder and its size changes with age.
At present, many men are suffering from prostate issues, which commonly include acute or chronic inflammation, enlargement of the prostate, and prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most usual form of cancer in men. It begins when the cells in the prostate gland start to grow uncontrollably. When mutations occur in the abnormal cells’ DNA, the cells grow and divide more quickly than normal cells do. The abnormal cells continue living while other cells die. Once these abnormal cells accumulate, a tumor is formed. This tumor grows and invades nearby tissue.
Almost all prostate cancers are adenocarcinomas which mean that they develop from the gland cells (the cells that make the prostate fluid that is added to the semen). Some other types of prostate cancer are sarcomas, small cell carcinomas, neuroendocrine tumors (other than small cell carcinomas), and transitional cell carcinomas.
Most types of prostate cancers grow slowly, however, there are some that can grow and spread quickly. Prostate cancer that’s detected early — when it’s still confined to the prostate gland— has a better chance of successful treatment.
Some of the factors that can increase your risk of prostate cancer include age, race, family history, and obesity. On the other hand, its symptoms include blood in semen, bone pain, erectile dysfunction, trouble urinating, decreased force in the stream of urine, weakness, cold and ache in the lower part of the back and genitals, and discomfort in the pelvic area.
Conventional treatments are often found to be ineffective when it comes to treating prostate cancer. Luckily, there are natural solutions, such as cranberry and pumpkin seeds and oil, that can help you fight prostate diseases and can surely give you positive outcomes.
Aside from this, researchers have found another effective and powerful natural remedy against prostate diseases – its Epilobium parviflorum or simply known as smallflower hairy willowherb. This herb has been used as a powerful remedy for centuries. However, due to the effects of modern medicine, it has been forgotten for some time.
As a prostate remedy, various species of smallflower hairy willowherb can be used.
For this recipe, you may use the following species:
Epilobium roseum, epilobium parviflorium, epilobium montanum, epilobium obscurum, epilobium sollinum epilobium anagallidifolium, and the ones that grow in the swamp.
Add 1 tablespoon of this herb (dried or fresh) in 200ml hot water and leave it to rest for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the herbs and drink the tea twice a day (in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before sleeping)
Consume the tea for a few weeks or until you have achieved the desired results.
