Eczema is a condition wherein your skin becomes red and itchy. With the help of an oatmeal mask, you’ll be able to soothe your eczema and calm your skin.

Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe irritated and itchy skin. It has saponins that work as a natural cleanser, thus removing dirt and dead skin. Moreover, it also has a sunburn-fighting effect and is good for acne breakouts.

It was revealed by a 2012 study, that oatmeal can protect skin and soothe the itching and irritation from eczema. Furthermore, it shows that oatmeal can also act as a buffer to help maintain skin surface pH.

This mask also has yogurt and honey that booth contains nutrients that can soothe the skin.
Yogurt, due to its lactic acid content, can help remove dead and rough skin and clear dark spots and blemishes from the skin.

Meanwhile, honey has anti-inflammatory and natural humectant properties that can help reduce inflammation and retain the moisture of the skin. It can even help fight bacteria and infection due to its antimicrobial properties.
