Billionaire Pharmaceutical CEO Arrested For Conspiracy and Bribery of Doctors

Federal authorities had finally arrested the billionaire owner and founder of INSYS Therapeutics for running a criminal drug cartel.

According to the best sources of real journalism in America, the Daily Caller News Foundation, John Kapoor was charged with leading a nationwide conspiracy to profit by bribing doctors and pain clinics into prescribing the company’s Fentanyl products to cancer patients experiencing pain.

John Kapoor was currently a member of the Board of Directors of INSYS. He was arrested in Arizona and charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, conspiracy to violate the Anti-Kickback Law as well as RICO conspiracy. There were also additional allegations against former INSYS managers and executives who were initially indicted in December 2016. The company’s stock prices fell more than 20 percent following the arrests.

Kapoor stepped down as the company’s CEO in the middle of an ongoing federal investigation into their “Subsys” product, a pain relieving spray containing fentanyl – a highly addictive synthetic opioid. As compared to morphine, fentanyl is 50 times stronger. Ingesting just two milligrams of it can be enough to cause an adult to seriously overdose. According to reports, addictive drugs containing opioids have claimed over 64,000 lives a year in the U.S. alone. These INSYS executives allegedly fueled the opioid epidemic by paying doctors to needlessly prescribe an extremely dangerous and addictive form of fentanyl, mostly to patients diagnosed with cancer.

As drug overdoses led to 64,070 deaths – more than the number of American lives lost in the entire Vietnam war – President Donald Trump officially declared the country’s opioid epidemic a national emergency. This follows a series of arrests to those accountable for over-prescribing and over-producing the highly-addictive painkillers.

Trump said:

“We will be bringing some major lawsuits against people and companies that are hurting our people.”

Moreover, in a statement, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said this:

“More than 20,000 Americans died of synthetic opioid overdoses last year, and millions are addicted to opioids. And yet some medical professionals would rather take advantage of the addicts than try to help them. This Justice Department will not tolerate this.  We will hold accountable anyone – from street dealers to corporate executives — who illegally contribute to this nationwide epidemic.  And under the leadership of President Trump, we are fully committed to defeating this threat to the American people.”

War to Big Pharma’s Doorstep

More and more drug companies, engaged in the mass medical murder with deadly drugs, will be facing the legal scrutiny they deserve as President Trump will continually fight to end the drug cartels and health care monopolies that are destroying the nation.

When the medical fraud and corruption scandal blows-up – autism cover-up, criminal racket run by CDC, Big Pharma, questions of vaccines and the lying mainstream media — for sure, dozens of pharmaceutical officials will go to prison.
