Athlete’s foot is a common fungal infection that affects the skin on the feet (it can also spread to the toenails and the hands). It comes with symptoms like burning skin, blisters that itch, flaky skin, etc. Luckily, this condition can be treated with some home remedies like baking soda.

Baking Soda And Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix 1 cup apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and then add 2 tbsp of baking soda. Mix the ingredients well. Add about a half-liter of water then soak the feet in this solution for 15-20 minutes. Wash the feet with normal water and wipe with a clean towel and pat dry. For best results, follow this remedy 2-3 times a day.

  3. Avoid submerging the skin for too long.
  4. Keep your feet dry whenever possible.
  5. Towel dry your feet thoroughly after showering.
  6. Always wear flip-flops or other footwear in community areas.
  7. Keep your socks and shoes clean (foot powder helps).
  8. Don’t share clothing, especially socks or footwear.
  9. Take off your shoes whenever possible.
